These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Jands Auto Repairs website at jandsautorepairs.com and the automotive services provided by Jands Auto Repairs. By using our website or services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Jands Auto Repairs provides automotive repair and maintenance services at 2925 Carling Ave, Ottawa, ON K2B 8E7. All services are subject to a written estimate provided prior to commencement. No work will be performed beyond the scope of the approved estimate without your prior authorization.
We reserve the right to decline to perform services on vehicles we determine present safety or liability concerns, or that fall outside our technical capabilities.
Written estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of assessment. If additional issues are discovered during service that affect the cost of repair, we will contact you for authorization before proceeding. Final invoice amounts may differ from estimates if: (a) additional work was authorized during service; (b) parts pricing changed between estimate and order; or (c) the actual condition of the vehicle required more or less labour than initially assessed.
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and do not include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. HST is applied as required by Ontario law.
Payment is due upon completion of service, when the vehicle is picked up. We accept cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not accept personal cheques. Vehicles not picked up within 30 days of service completion may be subject to storage charges at the prevailing rate.
We warrant our labour and installed parts against defects in workmanship and materials for a period specified at the time of service (typically 90 days or 5,000 km, whichever occurs first, unless otherwise stated). This warranty applies to the specific repair performed and does not cover: normal wear and tear, damage caused by subsequent accidents or misuse, pre-existing conditions unrelated to the repair, or parts supplied by the customer.
To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period. We will inspect the vehicle and, if the issue is covered, perform the necessary correction at no charge. This warranty is in addition to any manufacturer's warranty on parts, which may offer additional coverage.
When you leave a vehicle with us for service, you authorize us to operate the vehicle as necessary to diagnose, perform, and test the completed work. We take reasonable care of vehicles in our possession. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, deterioration of pre-existing conditions, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control (such as weather events).
Vehicles left overnight are stored in a secured facility. We are not responsible for personal property left in vehicles.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
